MAGIC AND MAGIC DISTRIBUTION
Anyone in Risk-Taking Nobody's fictional universe can cast spells, curses and brew potions. These three categories are classified as practical magic. Practical magic only needs you to have a soul and the required materials for the spell, potion or curse, therefor everyone can use practical magic unless they don't own a soul (which is extremely rare and is often a result of dark magic.) Then there's a second type of magic, which is spiritual magic. Spiritual magic only has one category in itself, which is a soul manifestation, that's a natural part of your soul. A soul manifestation enables you to practice a very specific type of magic without any materials. Both practical magic and spiritual magic are regulated by law.
SPIRITUAL MAGIC
Spiritual magic is magic that's naturally inside someone's soul, enabling the user to use a special type of magic, unique to them. There's only one source of spiritual magic, and often users of this kind of magic has it much easier to practice different types of practical magic. This is because they already know naturally how to control their souls manifestation, and in turn their souls energy, which makes it easier to activate wards, spells and enchant materials. An animalia with a soul manifestation are called pathogens.
SOUL MANIFESTATION (AKA ABILITY)
A soul manifestation is natural magic, and it is created thru soul splitting. The stories go that once you experience a feeling so intense your spirits cant handle it, it splits your soul in two. This second soul manifestation is the intense emotion you were feeling, split apart from your original soul. These feelings can be positive or negative, they're extremely unexpected and rare. What feelings you feel when your soul splits determines what kind of ability you're granted. Negative feelings, like fear or hopelessness, can grant you an ability that helps you with your greatest fears. Positive feelings, like joy, love and bliss, can grant you an ability that reflects your greatest moment of joy. Here are some examples: healing, telekinesis, super strength, sixth sense, super speed, and so on.
PRACTICAL MAGIC
All practical magic requires materials for a spell, curse or potion. Certain materials are illegal or regulated to restricted vendors to avoid dangerous spells, potions and curses to be cast and created. The same goes for spells and recipes that can be illegal to preform and distribute. In extent that means that it is illegal to upload, print and/or project recipes and instructions for certain spells and potions. You can get arrested for planning of cursing, planning of harmful casting and planning of illegal brewing. Cursing is completely illegal in most parts of the world. But depending on where you are, some practical magic is completely legal whereas it might be illegal in other places. Every single curse, potion, spell and soul manifestations have its tolls. no one is over powered or impossible to defeat or stop, but powerful magic is hard to regulate.
Spells
Spells can be used by anyone, and they're used for a wide variety of tasks. But just because everyone has the capability to preform spells, doesn't mean that everyone is good at it, or will do it what so ever. Spell casting comes with dangers of its own, which is often misfire. Misfire is when a spell doesn't preform as planned, like if you were blessing water but accidentally turned it into solid ice instead. Misfires don't have to be especially dramatic, as most of them result in the spell not being cast at all.
To cast a spell you need a ward, materials for the ward and soul energy. The ward is the actual spell, the materials are to write the ward in, and the soul energy to activate and channel the spell. You write a ward with the material, then activate it with your own soul. It is not like a devils deal where you have to give up your own soul (unless it's a rare spell, like resurrection or transfer.) It is simply honing and channeling your own souls energy from within.

Potions can be made by everyone, and they're often used as medicine. Potions are easier to make than spells, but require more material, time and effort. All potions must have a base liquid, like blessed water, cursed wine, blessed liquefied gold, etc. The base liquid must be enchanted in any way so that the materials put into the potions will properly activate their inner energy. To enchant liquids you need to use a simple spell (however you can also just pay someone to enchant it for you.)
Potions are about treating your materials right, you might need to crush your materials, liquefy them, burn them, freeze them, boil them, and so on to get the desired effect. Every different treatment of a material always symbolizes a certain effect you want to achieve. For an example, using animals and living creatures in your potions makes the potion poisonous.

Curses
Curses can be cast by anyone, but they're illegal to cast in most places of the world. Curses are only meant to hurt and inflict pain, destruction and misery. Curses originate from powerful sorcerers that made them out of pure hatred. The more damage a curse causes the greater the punishment, and the bigger the crime. In countries where curses are illegal there's often regional programs set in place which allows people to get de-hexed for free or for a discounted price.

Curses always leave a mark on the victims body, the mark is the seal. The seal can be marked directly on the victim, or written on paper to later get burned onto the victim.
